Bob married Alice in 1970 ...

and has been marrried for forty-nine years. They have a daughter, a son, and eight grandchildren ranging in age from seven to twenty-four years old. Bob and Alice raised their children in the Philippines, North Carolina, Florida, and California. Bob and Alice retired in 2009 and made Jacksonville their permanent home.

Bob grew up in rural Michigan ...

and joined the Air Force after graduating from high school. Bob retired from the Air Force as a Special Agent/Criminal Investigator with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Bob worked as a Private Investigator and as an investigator with the airlines and the second largest school district in the United States. Bob retired in 2009 as a Deputy Inspector General for the Los Angeles Unified School District.

since moving to Jacksonville. Bob opened a small photography business and you can find him at most of the community events. Bob was the Treasurer of a three county non-profit agency, the Brigade Boys & Girls Club, serving over 1200 children a year. Bob is a past President of the New River Onslow County Rotary Club which is actively involved in keeping the New River clean and free of pollution. Bob is active as a member of the Jacksonville Onslow Chamber of Commerce and is on the Military Affairs Committee. Bob is active in the Onslow County Republican Party and served on the 3rd Congressional District and North Carolina Republican Executive Committees.

Bob understands the importance of a good education. After graduation from high school, Bob continued his education in the Air Force with technical education and specialized training. Bob graduated in 1979 from the Air Force Office of Special Investigations Academy and then attended several specialized courses in contract management and fraud investigations. Bob has a Masters Degree in Public Administration - Administrative Organization & Management from Golden Gate University. He also has a Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences and Psychology from the University of the Philippines and a Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from the Los Angeles Metropolitan College.

Bob Williams is a recognized business management professional by National leaders in Government, Industry, and Trade Associations. Bob was selected by Cook County and Chicago Bar Associations as one of three finalists for the Cook County Independent Inspector General from three hundred twenty-five candidates. Bob possess extensive knowledge and skills to manage complex and technical projects in high visibility organizations. Bob blends information technology and traditional management skills to resolve modern day business problems.

Bob has over thirty years of experience working with Municipal, State, and Federal Government. He was a Criminal Investigator for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and a Fraud Investigator working with domestic and foreign airlines. Bob served as the Deputy Inspector General, Investigations in the Office of the Inspector General, Los Angeles Unified School District, the second largest school district in the United States. Bob oversaw the School District's financial and school construction operations, including a $13 Billion annual budget and $19 Billion Multiyear School Construction Program.
